Where were you when we needed you?

Strader said that without an opponent, he won't have to have another fund-raiser. He had one in early December, where he raised about $12,000, he said.

"The worst part of the race is raising money," he said.

Other Knox legislators without primary or general election opponents are Reps. Bill Dunn and Harry Brooks and Sens. Tim Burchett and Randy McNally, all Republicans. --via KnoxNews.com (no reg req.)

I think I mentioned this before. Before we cannibalize our own party, why not post a little opposition for the Republicans?

The Republicans have their 72 hour plan to get out voters --democrats need to work on a 24 month plan to actually get out candidates for next go around. I hope that the local party can better prepare for next go around by starting right after elections this fall. You'll definitely see more YD's and CD's involved.

The card lists him as the Tennessee Department Environmental Conservation commissioner.

I don't if it is Vines' or R. Larry's mistake, but the last time I checked it is the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
